The Vesuvius Poland Family Picnic 2023, attended by Vesuvius Poland employees in Skawina along with their families, was filled with a variety of attractions. Besides fun, quality time, and delicious food, the participants had the opportunity to take part in unique ceramic workshops.

The workshops gave the youngest participants a glimpse into our work – we are involved in the production of refractory materials for industry. Parents and children together crafted exceptional pieces, albeit slightly different from those manufactured on a daily basis at Vesuvius, equally extraordinary. We present them below.

The workshops were one of many attractions aimed at the youngest attendees to acquire valuable knowledge through play. In addition to ceramic crafting, children had the chance to participate in scientific, technological, engineering, and mathematical activities (STEM).
