More than 100 trees planted, 1m3 of electro-waste collected and 74 participants of the Earth knowledge quiz – these are the results of this year’s Earth Day celebration.

Earth Day is traditionally celebrated on 22 April. This year, we celebrated it in three ways. Between 15 and 26 April, a collection of electro-waste was held on our premises. In total, we collected 1m3 of rubbish, which poses a threat to the environment if not properly segregated and disposed of.

As part of raising awareness among our employees, we also organised an Earth knowledge quiz for our employees. Seventy-four people took part and the top 40 received ‘green prizes’: rockeries and annuals.

In the third week of April, a tree planting campaign was also held on our premises. Thanks to the Biosystem recovery organisation, we planted a total of 100 trees: hornbeams and rowans. More than a dozen people took part in the entire action.
